The Maharashtra Labour Welfare Fund (Amendment) Act, 2024 has been enacted with the assent of the Governor to revise the labor welfare fund contribution rate effective from 18th March 2024.
As per the amendment the employee listed in the register of an establishment on the 30th of June and 31st of December, respectively, is applicable for LWF contributions as per the below slab:
- Employee share – Rs. 25
- Employer share – Rs. 75
