Maharashtra Govt Covid Guidelines Dated January 08, 2022

The Government of Maharashtra issued order dt.08.01.2022 that will come into force from 10.01.2022 and will remain in force till the issue of a new order. A few highlights of the order are listed below:

  • On movement of people – Is restricted to 5 in a group from 5 AM to 11 PM. Except for essential services no movement of people from 11 PM to 5 AM.
  • For private offices – Management is advised to encourage work from home for employees and staggering of working hours. Only 50% of employees to be working from office. Only fully vaccinated employees attend office and non-vaccinated employees to be encouraged to get themselves vaccinated. Strict adherence to Covid Appropriate Behaviour by all employees to be ensured by the management. Thermal scanners, hand sanitisers to be made available by the management.
  • For offices that are open 24 hours – Staff movement for various shifts to be considered. All persons working in shops, hotels or any establishments engaged in e-commerce or home deliveries must be fully vaccinated. The management will be held responsible if any case is found in contravention to the requirement and concerned establishments shall be closed by DDMA. Periodic testing using RAT for staff engaged in these activities to be carried out by the management.

  • Annexure 2- Covid Appropriate Behaviour (CAB), Work place CAB,CAB in public and private cars and CAB for shops/malls/ theatres and other standalone or multi-outlet establishments can be viewed in the notification.
