Andhra Pradesh – The Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Rules, 2026

The Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code, 2020 (Central Act No.37 of 2020), and in supersession of the previous Rules made by the State Government viz., (1).The Beedi and Cigar Workers (Conditions of Employment) Act, 1966 (Central Act No.32 of 1966),(2). The Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 1996 (Central Act No.27 of 1996), (3). Contract Labour(Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970 (Central Act No.37 of 1970), (4). Dock Workers (Safety, Health and Welfare) Act, 1986 (Central Act No.54 of 1986), (5). the Factories Act, 1948 (Central Act No. 63 of 1948), (6). the Inter-State Migrant Workmen (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 1979 (Central Act No.30 of 1979), (7). The Motor Transport Workers Act, 1961 (Central Act No.27 of 1961), and (8). The Plantation Labour Act, 1951 (Central Act No. 69 of 1951) except as respects of things done or omitted to be done before such supersession)
