Maharashtra Covid-19 Guidelines dated January 31, 2022

­­The Government of Maharashtra issued an order dated 31.01.2022 which is in effect from 1st February 2022 and will remain in force till the issue of any new order. The directions and relaxations are based on the percentage of people that are vaccinated in districts as mentioned in Annexure A of the notification. Similarly, the criteria for the selection of a district in Annexure A shall be reviewed periodically. In addition, the respective DDMA may decide on the restrictions on movement during night hours from 11 PM to 5 AM. Districts not mentioned in Annexure A must seek permission from SDMA for relaxations since the percentage of unvaccinated persons is high.

The Commissioner of Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai has also issued certain restrictions and relaxations (details in the notification) order dated.01.02.2022 and will remain in force till 28.02.2022. The order emphasises strict adherence to Covid Appropriate Behaviour in line with Annexure 2 of the State Government order dated 8th January 2022. All other restrictions than the ones specifically mentioned in this order will be as specified in the State Government orders dated 8th and 9th January 2022.
