Karnataka State COVID19 Surveillance Guidelines Dated 18th July 2021

The Govt. of Karnataka on 18th July 2021 has issued guidelines for COVID19 surveillance, containment and caution which will be in force in the entire State upto 6 AM of 02nd August 2021

Along with the prior shared 3rd July 2021 circular, the below activities will remain in force in the State of Karnataka upto 6 AM of 2nd August 2021.

Highlights of Orders issued by KN Government dated 18th July 2021:

  • Night Curfew duration is reduced by one hour and will continue to be imposed from 10.00 PM to 5.00 AM.
  • Cinema halls, multiplexes, theatres, rangamandiras (where drama and performing art events take place), auditoriums and similar places have been permitted to operate from July 19. However, only 50 per cent of its total seating capacity will be allowed.
  • Colleges and institutions pertaining to the Department of Higher Education will be permitted to reopen from July 26. However, only students and staff who have taken at least one dose of Covid-19 vaccine will be permitted to enter and be inside the premises of the college or institution.
  • Further, all skill-development trainings including long term technical courses are also permitted to begin physical sessions from July 26.

Covid19 appropriate behaviour and SOPs/guidelines issued to be strictly adhered.

However, Orders regarding Special Surveillance measures for persons coming from Maharashtra and Kerala State will continue to be in force until further orders.
