The labour department of Haryana has granted deemed exemptions for few categories of employer’s order dt. 17.01.2022 are listed below:
- Vacancies in new start-ups and new IT/ITES for two years from the commencement of work/business or manufacturing process. The exemption granted to new start-ups and new IT/ITES is for those employers who have commenced their operations within two years from the commencement of this Act.
- Short term employment if duration is less than 45 days.
- Vacancies under employers who engage in agricultural activities. (Details can be viewed in the notification).
- Vacancies under employer for domestic work or services in residential homes.
- Vacancies which are being filled through promotion or transfer or absorption of surplus staff of any unit of the same employer in the state.
- Any class, job, skill, or category of employment that the government may announce if local candidates with the appropriate skill, qualification, or proficiency are not available.
