As per the notification dated 25.04.2022, wearing of face-covering / mask by the public is compulsory in all public places, in workplaces, and during transport.

Due to the sudden increase in Covid cases, the DDMA after examining all the relevant facts related to the issue of penal provisions for not adhering to the covid protocol of wearing the mask in public places decided that whereby

As per the order, it is mandatory to wear a face mask/cover, while in public or workplaces. Any violation of the same will be punished by imposing a fine of Rs 500/-, non-payment of the fine will attract penal proceedings.
